USING CONNECTIVES IN CONVERSATION
IN FACT
I had to take my son to soccer practice.
In fact ,we went to the Grand Final as well.
I bought some rice.
In fact, I bought four kilos.
MIND YOU
One day o soccer's enough for me.
Mind you, I always enjoy it.
BY THE WAY (参看第8讲)
1)Everyong likes Brett Watson.
By the way ,he's just writen a book about soccer.
2)A:Wasn't the weather great yesterday?
B:Yes, it certainly was.
A:Oh, by the way ,did you see that Chinese film last night?
I MEAN(参看第22讲)
I don't think I'll sit with you two on Mondays.I mean ,allI hear is soccer, soccer, soccer!
I MUST SAY
Well,I must say the Grand Final was exciting.
YOU KNOW(参看第1讲)
My boy thinks Watson is... er...you know... marvellous.
PART IV - Exercises
