KEY POINT
1. the good=good people好人
2. Only the good die young.
=Only good people die young.
注意：die之后可接形容词或名词做主语补足语。
例：The gambler died a poor man.
(那个赌徒死的时候一贫如洗。)
3. bump into…偶然遇到……
bump v.碰撞
例：Andy bumped into his father at the video game store.
（Andy在电玩店碰见他爸爸了。）
4. So what? 那又怎么样？
例：A: You forgot to do your homework again.
B: So what?
（甲：你又忘记做作业了。）
（乙：那又怎么样？）
5. with…on身上穿/戴着……
例：With a life jacket on, you won’t drown.
(身上穿着救生衣，你就不会溺水了。)
6. Helmet n. 头盔，安全帽
例：It’s against the law to ride a motorcycle without a helmet on.
（骑摩托车不戴头盔是违法的。）
7. Capsize vi&vt. （使）倾覆/翻覆
例：If there are too many people on the canoe, it may capsize.
（如果太多的人乘坐一艘独木舟，它可能会翻覆。）
It was the big waves that capsized the boat.
(大浪使船翻覆了。)

9. roll n. & vi. 翻滚；vt. 使滚动，卷起
例：With one quick roll, the wrestler got up on his feet.

12. overturn vi. 翻覆=capsize
例：The car ran into a truck and overturned.
（那辆小汽车撞上一辆卡车翻了。）
13. mean vt. 意味
meaning n. 意义，意思
例：What do you mean by staring at me like that?
(你那样看着我是什么意思？)
It’s no use reciting a composition if you don’t know its meaning.
（如果你不知道文章的意思，光背诵它是没有用的。）
14. live to be + 年纪 活到……的岁数
例：My grandpa lived to be a hundred years old.
（我爷爷活了100岁）
15. 本文：
…we’ll both probably live to be a hundred.
=…we’ll both probably live to be a hundred years old.
