【词语用法】
again同back的意思相近，但用法不同：
back与动词连用时，作为副词，常指退回到前一个状态，或是从与之前相反的状态返回去，而again不可这样说。
Give me my watch back.
(NOT Give me my watch again.)
again与动词连用时，表示“重复，再一次”。
Can you play it again?
注意sell back和sell again的不同，前者是卖回给同一个人，后者是再次卖，卖给不同的人。
The bike you sold me is too small.
Can I sell it back to you?
If we buy this house and then have to move somewhere else, how easy will it be to sell it again?
当动词本身指“退回，返回”的意思时，不可再用back，而可以用again加强“退回，返回”的意思。
Stefan can never return to his country (again).
在副词+动词+介词结构中，back和again都表示“回到上一状态”。
I stood up, and then I sat (back) down (again).
back可以用在动词和主语之间，而again则不可以。
Take back your money.
Count the money again, please.(NOT Count again the money.)
again and again或time and again指“反复地，频繁地”，now and again指“有时，不时”，only now and again指“难得地”；
“as much again as”指“加百分之一百，加一倍”，而“half as much again as”指“加百分之五十，加一半”。
These shoes cost me as much again as the last pair I bought.
比起我上一次买的鞋，这双的价钱贵了一整倍。
【例句用法】
1.Try again.
再试试。
2.It is as large again as that.
这比那个大一倍。(注意：as large again as是 ... 的两倍，比 ... 大一倍)
3.Say that again, please.
请再说一遍。
4.Please say that again.
请再说一次。
二.help：v. 帮助，有助于，促进，擅自拿取，（不）能防止或避免某事物 n. 帮助，援助，帮手，佣人，仆人 int. 救命！
【词义辨析】
aid, assist, help,
aid: 正式用词，指帮助他人脱离危险或战胜困难，着重强者对急需帮助的弱者的帮助。
assist: 强调在提供帮助时，以受助者为主，所给的帮助起第二位或从属的作用。
help: 最普通用词，含义广泛。指一般性的或迫切需要的帮助，侧重积极地为他人提供物质、精神或其他方面的帮助。
【词语用法】
help表示“帮助”时，后接不定式或宾语和不定式，但绝不不可接动名词。
This book will help (to) improve your English.
美国人常将句中的to可省略。
注意当被动语态helped被使用时，to一定不可省略。
You will be helped to improve your English.
help表示“避免”时，后接动名词，但是不可接不定式。
I cannot help thinking so.
cannot help同cannot but都表示“不能避免，不得不”，前者后接动名词，后者接没有to的不定式。
I cannot help thinking so.
I cannot but think so.
第一句比第二句用法普遍。
在美国有cannot help but接不含to的不定式格式。
I cannot help but think so.
在美国，help还可表示为“佣工”，既可指单个，也可指多个。
His help is a young man.
他的帮佣是个年轻的男人。
All his help are young men.
他全部的帮佣都是年轻的男人。
with/without the help of others和with/without help from others属于固定的搭配，注意介词和the的存在；
help sb in/with sth表示“帮助某人做某事”。
【错句举例与错句分析】
错句：The two girls were helping each other for the cooking.
纠正：The two girls were helping each other with/in the cooking.
翻译：这两女孩子互相帮忙做饭。
分析：help sb in/with sth表示“帮助某人做某事”。
【例句用法】
1.Help yourself.
别客气。
2.He's been helping himself to my stationery.
他未经许可一直用我的文具。
3.He can't help having big ears.
他爱打听别人的事。
4.There's no help for it.
实在没办法了。
5.Trade helps industry to develop.
