在亚历山大港和开罗第二天具有里程碑意义的总统选举中选民们在投票站外排成长龙等候投票。
Long queues formed outside polling centres in Alexandria and Cairo on the second day of a landmark presidential election.
But the morning’s turnout was generally weaker than the first day. Still, residents have great expectations for their next leader - their first after longtime president Hosni Mubarak. The government has also given employees the day off to cast ballots.
There are 13 candidates vying for the top job, including Islamists, liberals and former regime figures. But no one is expected to top 50 percent in the first round. This would set the stage for a run-off on June 16th and 17th. A final winner will be announced on June 21st.
