'Wonder what he teaches?' said Ron, frowning at Professor Lupin's pallid profile.
“不知道他教什么？”罗恩说，对卢平教授了无生气的侧影皱着眉头。
'That's obvious,' whispered Hermione. 'There's only one vacancy, isn't there? Defence Against the Dark Arts.'
“显然，”赫敏悄声说，“只有一个空位子，对不对？黑魔法防御术。”
Harry, Ron and Hermione had already had two Defence Against the Dark Arts teachers, both of whom had only lasted one year.
哈利、罗恩和赫敏已经有过两位教这门课程的老师了，两人都只教了一年。
There were rumours that the job was jinxed.
有谣言说，这份工作是注定要失败的。
'Well, I hope he's up to it,' said Ron doubtfully.
“唔，我希望他能胜任。”罗恩狐疑地说，
'He looks like one good hex would finish him off, doesn't he?
“像是施展一下魔法就会结果了他似的，他看起来是不是这样？
Anyway...' he turned to Harry, 'what were you going to tell us?'
不管怎么样……”他转向哈利，“你要和我们说什么呀？”
Harry explained all about Mr and Mrs Weasley's argument and the warning Mr Weasley had just given him.
哈利把书斯莱夫妇的争论、韦斯莱先生方才给他的警告等等都告诉了他们。
When he'd finished, Ron looked thunderstruck, and Hermione had her hands over her mouth.
他说完以后，罗恩好像遭到了雷击一样，赫敏则用双手掩住了嘴。
She finally lowered them to say, 'Sirius Black escaped to come after you?
最后她放下手来说：“小天狼星布莱克逃出来是为了要追你？
Oh, Harry... you'll have to be really, really careful. Don't go looking for trouble, Harry...'
哦，哈利……你一定要多加小心啊，要非常小心啊。不要自找麻烦，哈利……”
'I don't go looking for trouble,' said Harry, nettled. 'Trouble usually finds me.'
“我没有自找麻烦啊，”哈利恼怒地说，“通常总是麻烦找上我的。”
'How thick would Harry have to be, to go looking for a nutter who wants to kill him?' said Ron shakily.
“哈利会笨到什么地步，才会去找一个想杀他的疯子？”罗恩颤抖着说。
They were taking the news worse than Harry had expected.
他们对这条新闻的看法要比啥利预料的严重得多。
Both Ron and Hermione seemed to be much more frightened of Black than he was.
罗恩和赫敏似乎都比他害怕布莱克。
'No one knows how he got out of Azkaban,' said Ron uncomfortably. 'No one's ever done it before.

And he was a top-security prisoner, too.'
