[00:00.20]In announcing the fight to unionize, former Northwestern quarterback Kain Colter said they weren't blaming the school¡­
[00:05.66]"However, we recognize that we need to eliminate unjust NCAA rules that create physical, academic, and financial hardships for college athletes, across the nation."
[00:14.47]And with that, they took their fight to the National Labor Relations Board 
[00:17.53]which has determined that the players are employees and therefore can unionize.
[00:21.41]The NCAA says it strongly disagrees 
[00:24.42]and that student-athletes play for the love of their sport,  not to be paid.
[00:28.45]Northwestern says it's disappointed and exploring legal options.
