Unit 2 Chapter 2 Setting an Agenda
A: Let's get down to business. As you can see from the handout, there are three items on the agenda today.
A: Unless you have any questions, I suggest we discuss them in order.
B: Um, if you don't mind, could we discuss Personnel first?
B: I've got to leave early today due to a meeting with a client, and I particularly want to be here to discuss the new promotions.
A: OK, Susan. I don't think that should be a problem. Any other comments about the agenda?
A: The meeting is scheduled to finish at 11:00, so I'd like to keep each item to 15 minutes. OK. Let's get started with Personnel.
A: Susan, would you like to kick things off?
A: Right. I think that covers the promotion issue. Does anybody want to add anything? Anything else on Personnel?
A: OK, let's move on to the second item, which is finance.
