Time to get you know an overall snapshot of China's economic targets achieved last year. The country's GDP expanded 6.6 percent in 2018, reaching 90 trillion yuan for the first time. The government deficits totaled 2.38 trillion yuan, reaching the target of 2.6 percent. China's fixed investment in railways last year reached at nearly 803 billion yuan, surpassing the target of 732 billion yuan. Meanwhile, rural poverty population reduced by 13.8 million again on target and the unemployment rate remained between 4.8 to 5.1 percent, better than the expected goal of 5.5 percent.
