Here is a story of my neighbor Mrs.Ribonson.
这是我邻居里本森太太的故事。
Mrs.Ribonson had one small son.
里本森太太有一个小儿子。
His name was Billy.
他的名字叫比利。
Mrs.Ribonson loved Billy very much.
里本森太太非常爱比利。
And as he was not a strong child, she was always afraid that he might get ill.
由于他不是个强壮的孩子，她总是担心他会生病。
So she used to take him to the best doctor in the town four times a year to be examined.
因此，她过去常常每年带他去镇上最好的医生那里检查四次。
During one of the visits, the doctor gave Billy many kinds of tests and then said to him, “Have you any trouble with your nose or ears recently?”
有一次，医生给比利做了很多检查，然后问他:“你的鼻子和耳朵最近有什么问题吗?”
Bill thought for a second and answered, “Yes, I have.”
比尔想了一会儿，回答说:“是的，有问题。”
Mrs.Ribonson was very worried, “But I’m sure you’ve never told me that, Billy!” said anxiously.
利文森太太非常担心，“但是我敢肯定你从来没有告诉过我，比利!”焦急地说。
“Oh, Really?” said the doctor seriously.
“哦,真的吗?医生严肃地说。
“And what trouble have you had with your nose and ears, my boy?”
“你的鼻子和耳朵怎么啦，我的孩子?”
“Well...” answered the boy, “I always have trouble with them when I am taking off my sweater because the neck is not big enough.”
“嗯……男孩回答说，“当我脱毛衣的时候，我总是有麻烦，因为我的脖子不够大。”
