今天我们要给大家介绍的一个习惯用语不仅在美国非常普遍，而且在中国恐怕也是极为普遍的。这个习惯用语就是：Moonlight. Moonlight从字面上来解释当然是月光的意思。但是，作为习惯用语，moonlight是指一个人除了白天做一份工作外，晚上还另外有一份工作。在美国，一个人做两份工作是很普遍的。有的人甚至做三份工作。例如，白天有一个工作，晚上有一个工作，到周末还有一个工作。下面我们来举个例子。

My regular office job is from nine to five. But I also moonlight selling tickets at the movie theater from six-thirty to nine-thirty because I want enough money to get a new car.

这个人说：我正常的工作时间是从九点到五点。但是，由于我要攒够了钱买一辆新车，所以我还有另外一份工作。那是从六点半到九点半在电影院里卖票。
