1. What do you think is the main reason for the gap between the rich and poor?
改革开放以来，我国在经济增长的同时，贫富差距逐步拉大，收入差距问题也越来越受到人们的重视。

Candidate 1: There are many reasons for the gap between the rich and poor. Generally speaking, the main reason is that the social wealth is not distributed on average. But different countries have different reasons.

In capitalism countries, the main reason is that almost all of means and products belong to capitalists; the capitalists exploit the labor and plunder their wealth. So the capitalists' accumulation of wealth becomes more and more. In the end, the rich become richer and the poor turn poorer.

In our country, the gap also exists between the rich and poor. I think the main reason is that the reform and opening up make some people get rich in advance, and then the gap between the rich and poor appeared. But the final purpose is to achieve common prosperity.

Although our country has the gap between the rich and poor, I believe our country will make the gap disappear when we step into the communism society!
