二、口译技巧

1.词性转换

介词转化为动词

I think you are well on your way to being a world class city by 2015.
我想在2015年你们一定能把上海建设成为世界一流的城市。

2.省略

It is amazing to think now that you have more Chinese students coming to the UK than any other country.
这是一件令人欣喜的事，英国成为了中国学生出国留学的首选目的地。

3.逻辑关系转化

I was also delighted to see that my colleague, the Deputy Prime Minister, led a mission to China last year with some of the UK’s leading building consultants, people who are keen to share their expertise and design and project management with you ⋯
同时我十分高兴地看到我的同事英国副首相于去年率团访问中国。随行人员有英国一流的建筑顾问，他们都急切地希望于你们分享他们的专业技术知识以及设计和项目管理知识。（原文中的主从关系转化为译文中的并列关系；也可理解为介词短语单独成句。）

4.拆分
