Daniel: Mom, where are you going？

Mom: I am going to buy some food to cook for supper.

Daniel: Good. I wanna come with you.

Mom: How strange! Our little emperor now asks to help out with shopping.

Daniel: We learnt about vegetables and meat at school. But I never see the real thing.

Mom: Wow, that's something new. Let's go! (Daniel and mother enter the food market.)

(Mom points to the spin age and asks.)

Mom: What's this, honey?

(Daniel thinks over for a while.)

Daniel: Er, is it cabbage?

Mom: Cabbage? Is that what they teach at school now? OK, honey, it's spin age.

Daniel: Yeah, I know, this is Popeye's favorite food.

Mom: There we go.

Daniel: Mom, come here. I know this, it is carrot, am I right?

Mom: Bingo! It's dark outside, Let's hurry up.

妈妈：我们走吧。

妈妈：答对了！外面天已经黑了，我们快点吧。

Daniel: My Mom and I sometimes go to the Food Market together. I've learnt something about vegetable in school but when it comes to the real thing, it's not so easy for me to tell their exact names. Mom would help me with them. She'd make a great teacher I think.
