Sandra同学提问，如何用英语表达“暂时”，有一个英语词组: For the time being，如：
I couldn't afford an apartment for the time being, I'm unemployed. 我暂时买不起一套公寓，我还没找到工作。
You have a good rest for the time being, and don't consider anything. 你暂时好好休息一下，什么都别想。
Jenny got laid off for the time being. 珍妮暂时下岗了。
 下面，介绍一个很好的句型：What if...， 表示“要是......又怎样”，如：
What if it rains, we'd better have a backup plan. 如果下雨该怎么办呢, 我们最好还是有个后备方案。
What if he refuses us, I'm really afraid of being rejected. 如果他拒绝我们该怎么办呢, 我真的害怕被拒绝。
What if nobody signs up for this contest, only you and me. 如果没有人报名参加这次比赛该怎么办呢, 就我们两人参加。
What if you change your idea, I would become the victim. 如果你改变主意该怎么办呢, 这样，我会成为牺牲品。
What if you fail? You'd better be well prepared for it. 如果你失败了该怎么办呢？你最好还是作好准备工作。
