J:Test? What test? We didn't know we have a test today.
G:Ahh,ahh,ahh, April Fools!I was just yanking you chain!The test is next week.
J:Oh, thank heavens,you scared me! What's the April Fools' day, anyway?
G:April Fools' day is traditionly held on 1st of April.People play practical jokes on their friends and love ones, just like I did to you.
J:Does the whole road celebrate it?
G:A lot of countries do,for example, New Zealand,Ireland,UK and S.Africa, only play joke until noon. Sometimes, news papers play hoax on morning articles.In other countries,like America,France and Italia,the jokes last all day.
J:So how did this crazy holiday start? What's the history behind the April Fools' day?
G:The actual original April Fools' day is kinda grey area, the earliest association between 1st April and the foolishest can be traced back to the year 1392.
J:Cool! Can you tell me something hoaxes that you heard about?
G:In 1957,BBC run a great hoax about "a tree grows noodles on it".After that all the people called the television station wanting to know how do they grow their own noodle tree.
J:That'sinteresting.I think you'd better watch you back today, I determine to seek revenge.
