1.OPENING WORDS
Can I/May I help you?
Thanks. I'm looking for...
Is someone looking after you?
Are you right?
Mmm. I'm after some...
Can you help me?
Have you got any...?
Can you tell me where X is,please?
Is that all?
Yes, thanks.
Is there something/anything* else?
No,that's all,thanks.
A dollar a kilo ($1 per kg)。
SHOPPER:How much are these sandals?
ASSISTANT: They're $17.50.
SHOPPER: O.K. I'll have them. They're nice.
ASSISTANT:And here's your change. $2.50.
买东西又会牵涉到可数名词和不可数;
词:
COUNTABLES UNCOUNTABLES apples coffee biscuits orange juice oranges tea - |
Here's 8 biscuit.
Here are SOME biscuits.
Here's SOME tea.
i) There are only A FEW biscuits.
There's only A LITTLE rice.
There's only A BIT OF rice.
ii) There isn't MUCH tea.
Have we got much coffee?
There aren't MANY oranges.
Have we got many bananas?
在肯定的陈述句里,无论是与可数名前还是与不可数名词连用往往不用 much/many,而用a lot of或plenty of。
There's PLENTY of tea.
There's A LOT of tea.
There are PLENTY of biscuits.
There are A LOT of biscuits.
ones(参看第5讲第8部分第8点的注释)这个词用来代替上文已经提到过的某个复数名词。
I'd like some apples.
Some of the green ones, please.
