Claire: Crystal, thank you so much for the time you spend with me for the cooperative project. My work cannot be completed without your sincere help.
Crystal: My pleasure! I also learn a lot from you.
Claire: I remember that you once said you want to try some authentic Korean cuisine. Now, please make yourself at home.
Crystal: Thank you. What's this? A soup with chicken and ginseng?
Claire: Yes. It's called samgye-tang in Korean. We Koreans love eating it as we believe it can prevent illness. It is specially served in summer time.
Crystal: Is it because hot summer will cause excessive sweating, thus this soup could make up those lost nutrients?
Claire: Yes. You see, we normally have uncut ingredients, as we hold that they can preserve the maximum amount of nutrients.
Crystal: Wow, amazing. It seems that a bowl of samgye-tang a day keeps the doctor away.
