扎堆重启
说到重启，会用到一系列Re开头的词（这个前缀的意思是重新、重来）：
Reboot：重启，特别是用来形容剧集、电影重启, 既是动词也是名词
HBO is rebooting Game of Thrones: HBO会重启“权力的游戏”
Game of Thrones is getting a reboot/getting rebooted: “权力的游戏”要重启了
Revive: 重获新生、更新，多用于一个大的系列作品在很久后被更新、跟上新时代
The franchise is being revived: 这个系列将重新启动
Recycle：重新利用、再循环
They are just recycling old content: 只是重复老内容（炒冷饭）
So many shows are being rebooted because nostalgia is powerful: 那么多剧集都重启，因为大家都很怀旧
Friends had a reunion, not a reboot: “老友记”是演员重聚，不是重启
这些剧集都回来啦！
Game of Thrones is rebooted. The new show is called House of the Dragon. It's a prequel: “权力的游戏”要重启了，叫“龙之家族”，是前传
Lord of the Rings's reboot is the TV show The Rings of Power：“指环王”也要重启，但是是电视剧，叫“力量之戒”
Breaking Bad had a movie reboot and a spinoff show Better call Saul：“绝命毒师”有一部重启的电影，还有一部衍生剧“风骚律师”
Big Bang Theory's spinoff show Young Sheldon: “生活大爆炸”的衍生剧“少年谢耳朵”
The Sopranos recently had a movie reboot: “黑道家族”最近作为一部电影重启
Sex and the City's reboot is called And Just Like That ：“欲望都市”的重启叫“And Just Like That”
Star Trek has many spinoffs：“星际迷航”有很多衍生剧
TV shows in the Marvel multiverse, e.g.Loki, WandaVision, Hawkeye: 漫威多元宇宙有很多电视剧，Loki, WandaVision, Hawkeye等
Prequel：前传
Sequel：续集
Spinoff：衍生剧
Side characters become main characters: 配角变主角
粉丝怎么看？
It's all about expectation: 都和预期相关
Exceed expectation: 超出预期
Meet expectation: 达到预期
Failed/didn't live up to expectation: 没有达到预期
Disappointing/ed：令人、使人失望
Money grab：赚钱、抢钱
Some comments on the cast and their changing looks are tough, especially on women: 关于演员外形衰老的评论有时很尖锐，特别是女演员，比如“老友记”和“欲望都市”的女主角
There are shows that never end like daytime soap: 也有很多剧集永远不打烊，特别是下午播的肥皂剧
