四大用法，尽收囊中：

1）Big time 单独使用

它常作为回复、回应，来表达赞同。意思是“没错、绝对的”。

并且, big time所传达的赞同和兴奋的情绪要超出“certainly”, “for sure”这类说法。

例句：

Today’s show is pretty useful. 今天的节目很实用。

Big time! 绝对的！

Sichuan has the best spicy food. 四川的辣菜是最好吃的。

Big time! 那肯定的！

Do you regret not buying Apple stocks 10 years ago? 你后悔10年前没买苹果的股票吗？

Big time! 悔的肠子都青了！

2）Big-time 当形容词

作为形容词时，它指在某个领域很有成就、很重要、很成功的人事物。

例句：

My elementary school classmate became a big-time movie star: 我小学同班同学成了电影大明星。

They invited some big-time guest speakers for the event: 他们为这次的活动邀请了一些重量级的发言嘉宾。

The startup was running out of money until a big-time investor saw something in it and put money in: 这家创业公司本来快没钱了。但一个有威望的投资人慧眼识珠，注入资金。

I don’t know how he became the CEO since he has no experience in big-time corporate management: 我不知道他怎么会成为CEO的。他没有任何管理大企业的经验。

3）Big-time 当副词

它表示非常强烈的程度。可以用来修饰的动作范围非常广。

例句：

My son is into football big time: 我儿子特别迷足球。

We're winning big time in the competition: 我们这次比赛一直在赢。

I’m in trouble big time for missing the deadline: 我错过了deadline, 麻烦大了。

4）The big time 当名词

注意，作名词时，前面要加the。它指很成功、很有影响力、很被认可的地位和状态。

She finally hit the big time with her latest novel: 她最新的小说终于大受欢迎。
