a different expression
Every year,many foreign tourists

A route of exchange
For centuries, the Silk Road was the most
important way of communication
between East and West.
It got its name in the 19th century.
A German geographer proved it to be the route
of silk trade between the early Europeans
and the Chinese.
However, people did not only pass silk
along the Silk Road.
People traded goods of many kinds.
It was also important for the exchange of idea.

of Sichuan Province.
