译文1显然不通，因为“困难”是形容词，不能这样用；而译成2虽然通却不确切，可能会造 成误解。 Difficult的意思是“困难（的）”，第四版Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English给的定义是hard to do，understand，or deal with（难做，难懂或难处理）。

因此我们可以说This problem is very difficult.（这个问题很难。）也可以说It is difficult to solve this problem.（很难解决这个问题。/这个问题很难解决。）如果要表示“我们很难解决这个问题”，可在上一句加上for us: It is difficult for us to solve this problem.但不可以说We are difficult to do that.这是因为difficult 形容词有“主动的”含义，Something is difficult 的意思不是某事物本身有困难，而是对别人构成困难。
