语法点拨：这个句子是一个非真实条件虚拟句。由于是对过去发生的事情的虚拟，表示与过去的事实相反的情况，因此主句的虚拟结构是ought to have done，表示“过去本应该做的事情而没有做”。从句用的是一般过去时。
