艺术的发展 Evolution of Art
Cameron B. No region better displays this than art. Art chiefly evolves through the synthesis of old and new ideas-impressionism — but occasionally artists leave the old behind altogether for the strange and new — cubism. Art is a mirror for the era in which it is painted. As change comes to an era, art too must change in order to property evoke the feelings of the period. When the Plague forced people to reconsider their lifestyle, art reflected and responded to this change in outlook. Art began to focus more on the secular, and new artistic tools were invented — such as perspective — to further the feelings of non-religious paintings. Later, as society began to fragment,, it was reflected in the ever-more fragmented cubism and counterculture of Dadaism. Art represents and mirrors progress like no other, and artists are particularly apt at fusing ideas to create something original, progress at its purist.
