An arctic blast of snow, sleet and ice is sweeping across the U.S. South. Freezing temperatures -- worsened by dangerous wind chills -- are prompting warnings and advisories for much of the east coast. States as far south as Lousiania and Georgia are seeing snow. Shots fired at Hawaii High School

It happened at Roosevelt High School in Honolulu.Authorities say police responded to the school to take a runaway into custody. They say the teen became combative. There was a scuffle, and an officer fired two shots. A 17-year-old was hit in the wrist, and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
