Healthcare and immigration are important issues in UK election
英国大选讨论医保和移民问题
Party leaders were campaigning right up to the wire in the UK's tightest election race in decades, as healthcare, the economy and immigration became the primary talking points.
The British National Health Service -- which was established in 1948 -- is a public care system that provides free health assistance for British citizens.
But the system's service level has depreciated, due to cuts in healthcare spending since the last general election. Meanwhile, regarding immigration and the country's relationship with the European Union, the parties seem to be on uncommon ground.
The UK Independence Party insists on exiting the union, while the Conservatives say they will hold a referendum on its membership if they remain in power.
