In this episode, our host Dalong will bring you to a famous temple in China, the Third Patriarch Temple. 1500 years ago, the first patriarch Baochi and Taoist master Baihe fought over the land because of its good feng shui. It was the first patriarch who won the land for the temple but it was the third patriarch who made it famous. The third patriarch, Seng Can, taught Xinxin Inspiration (aka Confidence Inspiration) there, it became one of the most important inspirations in Buddhism.
There is also the Moya Stone Inscription. Along a 500 meter long cliff, over 300 poems were carved by famous poets and scholars. The oldest one was about 1200 years ago, in the Tang Dynasty.
