Dalong takes us to see the Peach Flowers, during the festival in April and May of each year, where over 40,000 locals come to enjoy the fragrant and beautiful blossoms of the many peach trees.
Yancheng dates from the ancient times of 129 BC, during the Han Dynasty. Its name means "Salt City" in English. It’s a large city of carefree people and who cherish their family life.
Take a look at the huge salt flats. Salt production around Yancheng, with plains near the Yellow Sea, has been the basis of the economy of this part of southern China for over 2,000 years—and they still do it the same way. This seemingly simple industry created some of the richest men and families the world has ever known—many, many years ago—because salt, much like oil today—had so many uses for people.
