Operatic tenor, Placido Domingo will perform at tonight's closing ceremony with China's Song Zuying. And he's promised a beautiful song.

On Friday, Domingo signed a 3-year contract
with Beijing's new Reignwood Theater and the
Asian Young Artists Training Center.

Domingo's ties with China are getting even closer. On Friday, he signed a 3-year contract with Beijing's new Reignwood Theater and the Asian Young Artists Training Center. The tenor will advise by e-mail and telephone from the US.

The theater is backed by the Reignwood Group, which has many entertainment and leisure projects in China.

The Theater aims to be a bridge between eastern and western cultures. Domingo said he loves Chinese culture and will do his best in the new job.
