Rescue continues for landslide victims

Search and rescue operations at a landslide in Chongqing in the southwest have entered their 4th day. 27 miners are known to be trapped, and eight of them are injured. So far, 9 bodies have been recovered and 63 people are missing.

On Monday afternoon, new pipes and welding machines arrived.

He Zonghai, Deputy chief of Chongqing Transportion Bureau, said, "The pipes are mainly for draining of the barrier lake and sending food to the trapped people."
