Lesson 15 My Day

I usually get up at a quater past seven. That's seven fifteen in the morning.

I have breakfast at eight o'clock, and then take the bus to work at half past eight.

I usually arrive at work at a quater to nine. Sometimes the bus is late, and I arrive at about nine.

My morning is usually pretty busy. And I'd like taking a coffee break at twenty to eleven if possible. I then work untill lunch time at noon.

In the afternoon I usually take another break at three fifteen.

Most of the time, I finish work at a quater to five and arrive home around six in the evening.

At night, I usually go to bed at eleven o'clock.

Dialogue: A busy day

W: You are quite busy every day.

M: Yes. Work starts at eight and I arrive home after six.

W: So you have to work all day.

M: I can take a break at lunch time, but it is only 30 minutes.

W: I see you sometimes work on weekends, too.

M: Yes, I really don't like it.
