Sharing The Apples 分苹果

Harry was given two apples, a small one and a large one, by his Mum. Share them with your sister, she said.

妈妈给了哈里两个苹果，一个大一点，另一个小点儿。跟妹妹分着吃。妈妈说。

So Harry gave the small one to his little sister and started touching into the large one.

所以，哈里就把小个的给了妹妹，自己开始啃那个大个的。

Cor! said his sister, If Mum had given them to me I'd have given you the large one and had the small one myself.

哼，妹妹说，如果妈妈给了我，我会把大的给你，把小的留给自己的。

Well, said Harry, that's what you've got, so what are you worrying about?

这里用到了被动语态。被动语态是指句子的主语不是动作的执行者而是承受者时，就要用被动语态，这种语态的结构是：

be动词+过去分词，也有时态和人称的变化

例：这本书是一个著名作家写的：

This book was written by a famous writer

分析这个句子

句中主语是“这本书”，但这本书不能执行“写”这个动作，所以这个句子就要用被动语态。由于书已经被写，所以要用一般过去时，“written”就是动词“write”的过去分词。“By”接的是这个动作的执行者，即“一个著名的作家”

一般搭配有share sth with sb.与某人分享某物

也可以将with sb提前，share with sb sth.
