贝多芬第六交响曲第四乐章《暴风雨》
He didn't notice when clouds began to form.
他没有注意到天边飘来的乌云。
The birds flew in circles above us.
鸟儿在我们的上空盘旋。
The wind pulled at our coats.
风呼啦呼啦刮进我们的外套。
The sky got very black.
天越来越黑。
We stood beneath a tree and watched a storm.
我们站在树下,看着风儿肆虐狂吼。
And now Mr. Beethoven has gone for the summer.
现在贝多芬先生去避暑了。
He will finish his symphony and then he will come back.
他在那里完成交响曲后,才会回来。
Dear Uncle, Mr. Beethoven came home last night.

And so, our house is in an uproar again.

Someone has given him a new piano and there's been a lot of trouble getting it up the stairs.

And then last night he had a party.

A lot of people went in and out very late, and the more cheerful they became, the noisier and more miserable it became for us.
好多人进进出出的,一直闹到大半夜。他们越是兴奋,就越吵闹,对我们来说也就越痛苦。
Finally, it was impossible to sleep.
最后,根本就没法儿睡觉。
Upstairs they were excited about the symphony.
楼上的人们对交响乐感到兴奋不已。
I could hear two ladies, and remembered I'd seen them laughing on the stairs.
我能听见两位女士,我记得在看见过她俩儿在楼上眉飞眼笑的。
They are called sopranos because they are singers who can sing very high.
人们叫她们为女高音,因为她们能唱很高音阶的歌手。
