Electronic Devices Must Be Charged To Fly To US
New airport security measures require passengers on US-bound flights to charge their mobile devices and laptops before going through security. Uncharged devices at many overseas airports will not be permitted on board. The heightened security is related to new Al-Qaeda terrorism threats. In cases where time permits, passengers with dead phones or computers will be offered a chance to charge their devices before boarding for their flight. Passengers who do not have the time or ability to charge their devices before boarding may be permitted to reschedule their flights. Some airports will offer special postal services for passengers who want to send their advices to a specific address.
