Olympic swimming rivals, Michael Phelps and Chad Le Clos, gave a tense display of competition before their 200m butterfly semi-final on Monday night. In the pre-game room, Le Clos started shadowboxing in front of Phelps – and the 19-time Olympic gold medalist was not impressed.
Under his hood, with his headphones on, Phelps stared stone-faced at his long-time rival-and NBC Sports caught the whole thing. Phelps came out ahead in the race, and the two will be competing once again in Tuesday night's 200m butterfly final.
