A real friend is someone that’s gonna be there for you when times are hard.
真正的朋友在你身处艰难时会出现的在你身边

It means you can have the biggest jerk living next to you but then when you lose your apartment and he takes you in, you find out he’s the only true friend you had.
比如，最开始你认为你的邻居是一个混蛋，但是当你无家可归的时候，他收留你，你才发现他是你一个真正的朋友。

In China, we have a figure of speech : “ The friend-ship, wrecks easily.” （友谊的小船，说翻就翻）We think of a friendshipas a real ship and sometimes, it’s easily wrecked by some ridiculous reason.
在中国，我们有一个比喻: " 友谊的小船，说翻就翻 "。我们觉得，友谊有时候真的是一艘船。它很容易因为一些可笑的理由破裂。

If there’s one thing that’ll mess up a friendship, it’s a love interest. If that’s the case, there isn’t much to be done. Really, you just have to hope your friend has enough forgiveness in them. Otherwise, there isn’t really much one person can do.
如果说有一件事会搞砸友谊，就是感情。在这种情况下，不能做什么。真的，除了朋友之间有足够的宽恕。但没有很多人能做到。

Forgiveness doesn’t come from an outward source. Forgiveness comes from within. If you’ve done something to hurt a friend, you can’t do anything to fix it.
宽恕不是来自外在因素。宽恕是发自内心的。如果你做了些什么伤害了朋友，你不能做任何事情来弥补它。

I like a friend that can take a joke!!! If I call my friend an asshole, they can’t get all upset about it. I like to insult my friends and i like being insulted back.
我喜欢可以开玩笑的朋友！如果我叫我朋友混蛋，他们不能因为这个感到沮丧。我喜欢骂骂我的朋友，我也喜欢他们骂骂我。

One day, you’re friend is gonna be on hard times and so will you. You’re gonna have 2 dollars in your pocket. If you give up one of those dollars, if you give up half of what you have, you’ll know what being a friend is all about.
如果一天，你的朋友在困难的时候你也会出现在他身边。如果你的口袋里有 2 美元，你给一美元给你朋友。如果你愿意放弃你所拥有的一半，你就会知道什么是朋友了。
