Now we are going to head down to the lake to this cafe here that lets you rent out boats to take out to the lake

Next we are going to visit one of Japan's oldest surviving wooden kabuki theaters

Tours are still conducted around this theater and performances are held daily from April to November

Kiritampo which is grilled and cut mashed rice in a chicken base soup

The rice is really soft, it is really good

Well, I've never seen this kind of ramen before, it's got tongkazsi, deep pork cutlet, on the top

there's the Hana Zen bento store which this year won the top prize at the Ekibin Obentuo No Jin, a tournament in Tokyo

So this is known as one of the best Bento's in the whole country

And it's great when you're waiting for a train

So the Abento has sweet red chicken on top of rice and other veggies

or you can take the local train from Odate station to Shin-Aomori

and then take the Hayabusa bullet train from there to Tokyo Station
