now share house in Japan are really really popular right now
现在合租在日本真的非常普遍
and basically what they are is a house or complex
一般来说，合租屋就是一套或一栋
where you live together with several other people
你和其他人生活在一起的房子
and you share common areas like the kitchen,
有一些公共区域，比如厨房
the living room, and the bathrooms

so if you're moving to Japan
如果你要来日本的话
I highly recommend share houses
我强烈推荐合租
because it's just less hassle than finding your own apartment
因为比起自己找房子，合租要要省事儿得多
especially if you are foreigner
尤其是你是从国外来的话
and it's usually a little bit cheaper and everything is set up for you
此外，合租一般比较便宜，而且什么都有
like electricity, water, furniture
比如水电啊，家具啊什么的
so you have less things to worry about when you come
所以你来了之后不需要考虑那么多东西
so let's go see what a sharehouse is actually like
那我们就去看看日本的合租屋长什么样儿吧
so meet my friend Ryan who works for the sharehouse company
大家来认识一下我朋友赖安，他在一家合租屋中介工作
he's kind enough to show us around today. so let's go inside
他人很好，愿意今天带我们一起转转，我们进去吧
so when you first enter to the right there is a living area
一进来之后，右边是一个客厅
where you can sit and socialize other housemates
你可以坐那儿，跟其他租房的朋友聊聊天
there is also a projector that comes down
那边还有一快可以放下来的投影布
so this is awesome if you have movie nights or watch a live game with everyone
在这儿看电影或是玩游戏很棒
next we have the kitchen space where you can eat
接下来是厨房，可以在这儿吃东西
and hang out with the other housemates
或是和其他室友在这儿玩儿
depending on the sharehouse the residents vary
根据合租房大小的不同，房客数量也不同
however this one has around 70 people living here
但是，这一套合租房的话是住了70个人
Japanese kitchens and normal apartments are usually really small
日本的厨房和公寓一般都很小
so this spacious shared kitchen is great for people who love to cook
所以这个宽敞的共享厨房非常适合那些喜欢做饭的人
and also the kitchen where the appliances are all included in the house
还有就是厨房里可以放你做饭需要的所有东西
so you don't need to buy your own
这样你就不用自己买了
so the fridge is usually shared in sharehouses
合租房的冰箱一般是共用的
however if you don't want your precious food to be eaten by others
但是如果你不想自己的东西被别人吃掉的话
it's good to get your own small one for your room
自己买一个小冰箱放在屋里也是不错的
just in case
以防万一嘛
and usually a house cleaner comes to the house each week
通常清洁工会一周过来打扫一次
so you don't have to take turns to do the chores
所以你不用跟大家一起来轮流打扫
next up we have the billiard room
接下来是台球室
now this is pretty awesome having a billiard table in your own house
在你住的地方有一个台球室是很酷的
next is the dining area where you can sit down and enjoy your meal
接下来是用餐区，你可以来这儿享用你的食物
it's also a TV in here
这儿也有一个电视
if the weather is good you can also eat outside on the deck as well
天气好的话，你也可以来外面用餐
and here are some boxes for each room to put their cooking ingredients in

next up we have the working space

now if you can't concentrate on your room on your work

then this is the room to go to get some work done

or if you just want some alone time and enjoy a good book

now Ryan is going to take me to my soon-to-be most favorite room in the house

no it's not the toilet but apart from the toilets in your room

You got to take off your shoes in Japan

for this sharehouse the rooms are around 70,000 yen a month
这个合租屋的话月租是7万日元
so when you first go in
一进房间之后
on one side there will be a shoe rack
一边有一个鞋柜
and on the other side there will be a closet
另一边是衣柜
and next to that is a small sink in a kitchen
衣柜旁边是一个小厨房，里面有水槽
and opposite that you have your own bathroom
对面是卫生间
Japanese bathrooms tend to be a little bit smaller than other countries
日本的卫生间一般都比其他国家的小
and then you have the bedroom
接下来是卧室
now most sharehouses in Japan are fully furnished
现在日本大多数合租房都是带全套家具的
so you only have to buy the small things
所以你只需要买一些你自己想用来装饰房间的小东西
like duvets plants interior design, whatever you desire to design your room with
比如被套，绿植，室内设计，随便你怎么装饰
this room also had a balcony which was really nice
