Previously, when I was in IT, I was in an environment where we have computers and air condition, and I, you know, I have to dress up very well.

I started my career 21 years ago in IT, but, actually, my love is in the sea.

I got to know many farmers, and the farmers shared their life with me, their passion, and they influenced me, and I decided that I wanted to be a farmer.
我渐渐地认识了很多渔民，他们会跟我分享他们的人生经历，他们的理想，是他们影响了我，我才决定也当一个渔民的。
When I entered into this industry I thought to myself that, "Hey, this is a opportunity to apply “my engineering principles to farming."
刚进入这个行业的时候，我就想，“咦，我可以抓住这个机会把我学的那些工程知识用到养鱼上啊。”
For instance, when we bring in fish fries from the hatchery we have to count the fish and also check the fish.
比如打捞的时候需要计数，还要检查鱼的状况。
Now previously, all this was done by estimation and by hand, but now we use a camera system to count the fish as they go past.
之前都是靠估计靠人工检查的，现在我们可以在鱼经过的时候用摄像系统来计数。
We can then also slow down the image, and then we can check the fish, as well.
通过慢放来检查鱼的状况。
I sell my fish to supermarkets, wholesalers, and restaurants in Singapore;
我的买家都是新加坡的超市、批发商和餐厅；
one of them is Candlenut, which is a Michelinstar restaurant in Singapore.
其中有一家名叫“桐树”的新加坡米其林星级餐厅。
Our reputation is that we grow fish in as natural a way as possible, and that's why people like to buy from us.
大家都知道，我们采用的是尽可能天然的养殖方式，这也是大家喜欢来我们这里买鱼的原因。
When I first got into this industry, nobody believed that we would make it, but yet, we're able to come in, and we made an impact.
刚入行的时候，没有人相信我们能成功，但我们真的坚持下来了，还做出了一定的影响力。
And I hope that I set an example for others, so that they will be encouraged to pursue their passion.
我希望我能够发挥一定的榜样作用，希望我的故事能够激励大家追求自己的理想。
