Make a difference: 起到【重要】作用
Make a world of difference： 起到【重要】作用2，哈哈，就是起到更…重要的作用了

A world of difference：单用则表示极大的不同，总之 a world of ...起的是强调和加强语气的作用
There's a world of difference between these two cities. 两个城市有很大的不同。
Categorize 给…归类，一般后面接in or into，表示归入的【具体类别】
Categorize your apps in different parts/kinds/groups，比如：
Categorize users into low or moderate risk groups 把用户归为低风险组别和中等风险组别
Categorize sth. as ... ，也是常见用法，比如：
And we like to categorize people as 'being crazy', but, they really are not insane.
我们喜欢把人们归类为“疯狂”，但，他们不是真的患有精神病。

I'm fascinated by What's up. Does it have any functions more magnificent than Wechat or Sina Weibo? 对于What's up，我还是很感兴趣，和微信、微博比，它有什么更出众的功能呢？
They kind of look similar but they really act in a different way. 他们看起来很相似，但是功能却不同。
Ray在强调Facebook, Twitter, Instagram这些国外流行社交网络各有自己的特点。


Act in a different way: 基本等同于have different functions但更精确，因为语义中包含了设计理念和运行模式
You can have like thousands of followers on Instagram.
Follower 粉丝【社交网络】，微博的粉丝也是这个词
Send a twit to sb. / twit sb. 发一条推特给某人
Ray没说具体一个推特限制的字数在多少以内，但这个功能设置和微博类似，所以Julie说：
So it's pretty much the same as Sina Weibo.
Pretty much the same as sth. 和…差不多

所以Ray觉得Twitter和微博的功能更相似，应属一类，那么Facebook呢？

这里的You know I'm talking about... 好像没有太多具体意思，省略也可以，但这恰恰是一个很自然的话题内容切换手法，也是《英用》这种highlight真实语境的教学节目特别推崇的语言学习点。

Ray又提到了一个曾经很火的社交网站——人人网。
Is it still around? 这个网站还在吗？
但是Ray说人人网其实是模仿的Facebook。

Are they [Facebook and Renren] the same or are they similar? 人人网和Facebook是一样的东西吗？或者有什么相似之处？
Facebook is a little more personal. 更注重保护个人隐私。
You don't really want to add people you don't know because you will be sharing your family pictures...
Facebook和微信这种，添加某人，我们可以说'add sb.'；而在微博、Twitter、Instagram,我们一般是'follow sb. '或者‘be followed by sb.'
You uploaded your photos and you tagged your family members...

这里扩展一下，社交网络上的动态可以用Posting/post [countable noun.]表示

A posting / a post can be text, pictures, audio clips or video clips
On Instigram and Sina Weibo, you can have bags of followers, heaps of them.

Bags of / heaps of sth. 很多，这两个短语都修饰可数/不可数名词均可，比lots of 洋气多啦~
