Two men do maintenance work at a candy factory in Pennsylvania, US. These men are not employees of the factory. They work for another company.

两名男子在美国宾夕法尼亚州的一家糖果厂做维修工作。这两名男子不是工厂雇员。他们还为其他公司工作。

The men fall into a tank full of chocolate. The chocolate is up to their waists. The men try to get out. It is not possible.

两人掉进了装满巧克力的大缸中。巧克力到他们的腰部了。他们试图出来。但不可能。

Emergency workers come. They try to pull the men out. They can’t do it. They must put a hole in the tank.

救援人员来了。他们试图把两名男子拉出来。他们拉不出来。他们必须在缸上钻一个洞。

The work takes about one hour to get the men out. They go to hospital.

这项工作花了一个小时才把这两名男子救出。他们去了医院。

Officials say that the men are not hurt. They now must find out how the men fall in the tank.

Notes:

1. maintenance：n. 维修，维护，如“汽车维修”即car maintenance。

2. tank：n. （贮放液体或气体的）箱，槽，罐，也有“坦克”的意思。

3. full of：装满，be filled with和它意思相近，表示“被填满，被充满”。

4. emergency：n. 突发事件，紧急情况。
