Enzo: Hi, Jacinta. What do you think about the new production schedule?
Jacinta: Well, price-matching in this brutal economy has made our profit margin razor thin.
Enzo: On top of that, the markets have been so volatile. Every day sees a new swing in the stock market.
Jacinta: Luckily, we've shown resilience, and our pace of innovation has kept us ahead of the trend.
Enzo: Also, management was smart to invest in lean manufacturing. Now we don't have too much capital tied up.
Jacinta: We're faster, too. I'm starting to love this just-in-time production! At first, it was stressing me out!
Enzo: Likewise, initially I also felt hobbled by this demand because we were not quite ready for it. However, it seems to be a megatrend sweeping the globe.
Jacinta: It sure is a game-changer!
We should not only emulate the best practices and products, but unveil our own ideas from time to time.
Enzo: With production runs becoming shorter, faster, and more complex, I feel like my mind needs to be the same way!
