Spanish police have arrested a French man, who allegedly supplied arms used by a gunman in an attack at a Paris supermarket in January 2015.
27-year-old Antoine Denive was arrested in a town close to Malaga on Spain's southern coast. He allegedly provided arms to Islamist militant Amedy Coulibaly, who killed five people at a kosher supermarket.
A police statement said Denive fled France several weeks after the attack in Paris, and made a new base for himself in Malaga. The statement also mentioned that he continued with illegal arms trading using false documents. Spain's High Court said Denive has denied the accusation, but said he was willing to be extradited to France.
The court will send him back to France to be tried.
