And in the bigger picture though, Pakistan has said the number of terrorist attacks inside the country dropped by 70 percent in 2015. Credit goes to a series of counter measures.
In June 2014, the military launched an operation, named "Strike of the Prophet's Sword", to dislodge militants in the North Waziristan region. In December that year, the government said it would set up special military courts for terrorism cases.
Last year, a five-thousand strong anti-terrorism force was established. But the recently intensified attacks have made the public worried again. Analysts say the attacks may be connected with internal disputes of the terrorist groups.
