Teenage smoking, by many counts, is not as prevalent as it once was, but health officials have been warning for a few years that the number of kids trying and using so-called ‘electronic cigarettes’ is becoming greater.
A new study out this morning, published by the journal ‘Pediatrics’ suggests teens are ‘vaping’ as much as teens in the 1990’s were smoking, with about one of every six high schooler in the study admitting to using nicotine in some form in the past month.
Health officials have long advocated for more restrictions on sales of e-cigarettes to minors.
