President Trump is expected to clear the way for the publication of a GOP-authored memo, over FBI objections according to White House officials. The 4-page document alleges surveillance abuses during the FBI investigation into potential ties between Trump's campaign and Russia.
In California, a young girl is under arrest after 2 teens were shot inside a Los Angeles middle school. Police arrested the female student who is believed to be 12 years old and recovered a gun. A 15-year-old was hit in the head and in critical conditions. The other injury is not considered serious.
A woman whose 2004 assault complaint against Larry Nasser was dismissed without charges is accepting an apology from the leaders of Meridian township in Michigan. Brianne Randall-Gay was 17 when she told police Nasser molested her. But officers closed her case after Nasser offered an aggressive defense and said he was using a legitimate medical technique.
And some polar bears in the Arctic are shedding pounds during the time they should be beefing up. In a new study, scientists say it's the climate change diet. They blame global warming for the dwindling ice cover on the Arctic Ocean that bears need for hunting seals each spring.
