Strong winds in southern California are pushing flames from a separated wildfire over the mountainsides. Thousands remain evacuated east of Los Angeles.
North Korea returned what are believed to be the remains of US servicemen killed during the Korean War. A US military plane made a rare trip to North Korea to pick up 55 cases of remains.
The Trump administration says 1,800 children separated at the Mexico border are reunited with parents or sponsors. About 700 remain apart including more than 400 whose parents were deported.
