US President Donald Trump renewed a threat Thursday to shut down the entire US border with Mexico to deter the entry of Central American asylum seekers. He said he closed all crossing points if the White House decides Mexico has lost control of its side. Trump cited migrants camped in Tijuana Mexico who have traveled in a caravan to reach the US. Thousands of US troops have been deployed along the southern border with Mexico to help strengthen border security. Trump said that he would allow the troops to use lethal force against migrants if they have to. That's a quote he also warned of a possible partial government shutdown early next month over Congress's refusal to authorize funding for the proposed border war.
