China's top economic planner said on Tuesday that the country will continue to supply rare-earth metals to world markets. But is opposed to those who use products made with those materials to suppress China's development. And the statement from the National Development and Reform Commission and DRC comes amid speculations that China would use rare earths as a tool in a trade war with America. The Commission reiterated the highly connected nature of the Chinese and American economies and warned the confrontation will only undermine them both. As promise China will keep following fair and free trade principles and exporting rare earths. But it added the Chinese people would not be happy if those exports are used against China.
