Tonight in Minneapolis after a devastating fire, gratitude. Makes my heart feel good to see these people out here. Those who've lost everything. Early Christmas morning a luxury hotel turned homeless shelter burst into flames, injuring three. I came in with nothing. I left with nothing. Forcing over 200 people onto the streets. Many of them children. These children are looking for present and hoping Santa come in. The parents are trying to hold it together.
It was really hard. Hope arrived after news of the fire spread. Boxes and boxes of food and supplies even presents a parking lot full. It's good to see the human spirit. You know alive. So much so volunteers have asked people to stop giving goods and to start donating money. The minneapolis foundation's raised over a hundred thousand dollars so far. All the victims now placed in temporary shelters. A show of Christmas spirit moving some to tears. God thank you so much, thank everybody coming here to help us. I thank you so much.
