Despite escalating tensions, a recent survey shows that most American firms in China remain committed to staying in the Chinese market. Findings from a U.S.-China Business Council survey were based on five-year projections. Results show that nearly 70 percent of U.S. companies in China are optimistic about the commercial prospects of the market. And Beijing says China remains committed to opening up its economy and providing better business platforms. It says China's development will open the door to more opportunities for cooperation among companies from other countries
